What began simply as a dream shared by two lifelong friends, Bob Enslein and Erik Ekstein, in no time gave rise to a well-respected house that represented an elite group of producers.

Our portfolio is still supported by these “founding fathers”, Vision Cellars (the first!), McPrice Myers (2nd), Barrel 27 and Black Coyote, continue to provide a solid foundation for the years to come. Noble House Wines kicked off with only two sales representatives on the streets of New York City. Today Noble House Wines has grown to multiple sales representatives across the New York, New Jersey metro area. These days you can still find Bob on the streets because of his deep passion for the wines and his continued realization of his dream. Our “founding fathers” are still with us after three years and we have added over sixty new producers from nine countries to our ever-growing family.

At home in the states we have continued to add some of the best producers in the industry. We’ve reached out to Oregon for the silkiness of pinot noir. Washington State provides us with the soft and sexy cool climate wines. Heading down the coast to California, we get the concentrated pinot noirs, the big elegant cabernets and the peppery syrahs. Our “go to guy” Ted Wilson continues to be the backbone of our operation. In addition to his dedication to pushing Noble House to new heights, he has ventured into his old stomping grounds in the Finger Lakes of New York. Ted has been able to source some of the best local Rieslings, and Pinot Noirs available.

With much effort, we have managed to build a vast international portfolio that exemplifies our high standards. Our Spanish portfolio has earned a great reputation and solidified Noble House’s presence in the European wine market. Producers such as Arzuaga, Cillar de Silos, Izadi, Leda and Cesar Principe are creating wines that demand attention. Building one of the top Spanish books in NYC was just the beginning for our team, our Senior VP Fred Price brought onboard his more than 20 years of experience as a sommelier in NYC’s top restaurant. With this experience, Fred went out and added more muscle to the NHW book through relationships with the likes of Gros Frere et Soeur, Remoriquet, Gerard Metz, Mollet-Maudry, and Patrick Lesec Selections.

From Down Under arrived Anthony “Ponder” Allport with a wealth of knowledge stemming from his time as a top wine executive in Australia. Tony brought along with him, O’Leary Walker and Ponder. O’Leary Walker was a winery that Tony used to promote, and has received the Five Star Rating in the James Halliday Wine Competition. This award, perhaps the most prestigious in Australia has marked O’Leary Walker as a major player in the wine world.

We take great pride in the high quality portfolio that we have assembled and as we continue to expand this family of ours we would like to take the time to thank all of you who have supported Noble House along the way. From dream to reality, our journey has truly been a labor of love and we look to the future with excitement for the next chapter in the Noble House book.

Wishing you well,
The Noble House Family
