Pinot Noir

Tuck's Ridge

Victoria, Mornington Peninsula

Vintage: 2006
Composition: Pinot Noir (100)
Alcohol: 13.60%
Type: Red

Winemaker's Notes:

This nose on this wine has everything that people look for in a good Pinot - lifted perfume, sweet red cherries and berries with just a few plums simply bursting out of the glass. The palate is amazingly silky for such a young wine and the finish is long, clean and brisk. This is without a doubt one of the great vintages of Tucks Ridge Pinot Noir.

Reviews:

Rating 94.
Very good colour; convincing texture and structure to the seductive mix of black and red berry fruits; an excellent back palate opening like the proverbial peacock's tail; long aftertaste.
