Winemaker's Notes:

The nose has nice baking spice aromas of sage and rosemary. Has some floral notes of violets. The wine also shows some vanilla spice and barrel aromas as well. The mouth is rich, nicely balanced wine from start to finish. Layers of fruit dominate, showing blueberries with cream, along with blackberries and dark plums. This is offset with some nice barrel characters of vanilla and sage. There are some well-integrated, very fine tannins that help provide nice structure and a long lingering finish.
