Winemaker's Notes:
This wine is made from low-yielding Cabernet grown in the Armagh and Polish Hill River regions of the Clare Valley. The bouquet displays powerful jube and blackcurrant fruit. The palate is layered and flavorsome with vibrant fruit characters, balanced at the finish displaying wonderful fine, long and Bible-black tannins. This is a serious wine with a cellaring potential up to 15 years.
Reviews:
“
95 Points.
Low-yielding vines in the very different Armagh and Polish Hill River sub-regions are the cornerstone; restrained winemaking puts the icing on the cake. Rich, juicy blackcurrant fruit aromas are repeated on the medium-bodied palate, perfectly supported by ripe tannins, quality French oak completing the picture.
