Winemaker's Notes:

Premium oak cooperages were used in the fermentation of this Chardonnay; one-third new, one-third one-year-old and one-third two-year-old. Weekly lees stirring and 100% malolactic fermentation have added extra layers of complexity and richness to the mouth feel of this wine.

The bouquet displays powerful white peach, nectarine and grapefruit enhanced by the subtle use of fine French oak. The palate is gun barrel strait, fine yet powerful with great intensity and length, finishing clean with balanced acidity. The richness, complexity and structure of this wine dictate that it will do well with careful cellaring over the next five years.
