David O'Leary and Nick Walker both have a love of winemaking, a desire to create something exceptional and a strong affinity with the Australian wine industry. After working for large companies for twenty years and amassing over 300 gold medals and 60 trophies (including a Jimmy Watson and twice International Red Wine Maker of the Year), a new challenge beckoned their winemaking skills. Their confidence in the fruit and the vineyards of the picturesque Clare Valley was the catalyst for them to establish their own winery. O'Leary Walker Wines was born.

O'Leary Walker is based at Leasingham located in the Clare Valley, South Australia, but we don't limit ourselves to producing just Clare Valley wines. Fruit is also sourced from other premium grape growing districts in South Australia including the Adelaide Hills, Barossa Valley, Coonawarra and McLaren Vale.

Wine makers David Oleary and Nick Walker use the variation in terroir to enhance a given grape variety through varied viticultural climates. The two winemakers met over twenty years ago and developed the philosophy to source the best grapes, from the best vineyard sites in order to create bests wines.

O'Leary Walker has rapidly gained a reputation for producing award winning regional wines at affordable prices.
