Winemaker's Notes:
Aromatic and crisp, this Chardonnay is
perfect as ab aperitif or accompaniment to
seafood, poultry, and salad dishes. It features
stone fruit flavors including peach and
apricot, as well as a cool, crisp acidity
typical of cooler climate chardonnays. Lees
contact adds a round and juicy texture,
contributing further complexity to the wine.
The fruit for this Chardonnay came from
premium Yarra Valley vineyards. This wine
was made by Clare Halloran, the esteemed
winemaker of TarraWarra Estate in the Yarra
Valley, using her philosophy of minimal
handling to preserve the wine's primary fruit character.
