Syrah Larner Vineyard is another example of a top-notch wine from this site. Blackberry liqueur intermixed with cassis, smoke, spring flower, and camphor characteristics emerge from this full-bodied, deep ruby/purple-tinged offering. Chewy, fleshy, succulent fruit flavors exhibit abundant glycerin as well as impressive underlying minerality and structure. Enjoy it over the next 7-8 years.

Tight, with rich plum and blackberry fruit that's ripe and fleshy, firming up on the finish. Ends with good length. Drink now through 2011.

Ruby-red. Musky cassis and cherry aromas are brightened by suave minerals and zesty florality. Lush and creamy, offering sweet dark fruit flavors, gentle tannic grip and a slow-building licorice quality. A bit more energy would be welcome but it's impossible to deny this wine's lush charms
