Reviews:
“
90 Points.
Inky purple, it offers up a slightly roasted potpourri of wood smoke, pencil lead, earth, blueberry, and blackberry. This leads to a fruit-driven, full-bodied, intensely flavored wine with enough structure to evolve for seceral years in the bottle. The spicy flavors persist into a lengthy finish. Drink this well-priced wine through 2020.

87 Points.
Muscular and a bit austere, this red shows plum and cedar flavors. Firm tannins and an earthy note give it a traditional character. Drink now through 2010. 3,500 cases made.
