Jean-Paul Mollet is the ninth generation winemaker of Domaine Mollet-Maudry, one of the most ancient families in the Pouilly sur Loire. The Maudry family has owned the famous Clos Du Roc vineyards in Sancerre for more than 50 years. Jean-Paul has followed the careful practice of his ancestors and is passionate about the unique soils in the vineyard, which is formed by particles of freshwater-fossils and sandy marl deposits. The native Sauvignon Blanc vines produce grapes of lively aromas of flint and mineral fruits due to the terrior; a strong characteristic of the region.
