Walter Clappis, the winemaker of Hedonist Wines opened his 32 hectare vineyard since 1997, and has been farming his vineyard biodynamically since 2002. Before Hedonist, Clappis owned the good-standing Ingoldby Winery in Australia for 20 years. A leading exponent of biodynamic viticulture, Clappis is said to be the only winemaker within the McLaren Vale to have won the Dan Murphy Trophy three times, a prestigious award of Australian winemaking culture.
Today, the Hedonist Vineyard is run by both Walter Clappis and winemaking daughter, Kimberly Clappis, offering a selection of wines with unforgettable taste.
