Kalita Vineyard, located in the Yamhill-Carlton district of Oregon, is owned by Arthur and Sherry Kalita. Wine Spectator said of our 2006 Pinot Noir Kalita Vineyard: "Firm in texture, with enough flesh to balance the fine-grained tannins. Offers cherry and mocha flavors that linger on the expressive finish (90)."
Black cherries throughout, with cola and herbs on the complex nose and palette, and into the very long finish.
The intense blackberry color leads to a palate of jammy cherries and plum. This can hold up to meal of beef, lamb.
