Winemaker's Notes:
Dusky Goose 2006 Dundee Hills is made with specially selected fruit from two
vineyard sources: The Rambouillet Vineyard and Winderlea Vineyard, formerly
known as Goldschmidt. On the nose one gets rich earth, black tea, blackberry,
aromatic bitters and delicate anise. To the taste - bright red cherry, plum, cassis,
with a "savage" or wildness at the core. The Dundee Hills is youthful, vital, focused
structure with a polished finish. The bountiful harvest of 2006 enabled us to reach
our planned production limit objective.
