The Adjenda Winery and vineyards are based in Langhorne Creek in the McLaren Vale. Amanda Vanstone, Ambassador Robert Hill, and main winemaker, Walter Clappis, ventured into the Adjenda label after years of experience on other labels.
Walter follows a minimalistic winemaking approach, and extraordinary care is given to each vintage. Traditional methods of viticulture and winemaking are employed, including hand harvesting, open-top fermenting and the use of the Zambelli basket press. Fermentation is completed in small oak barrels to increase complexity and integrate the oak influence throughout the wine.
Traditional Langhorne Creek reds are bountiful and full-bodied. Red varieties across the district show intense colors, clear varietal characteristics and excellent length of flavor.
